Kutch Painted Pottery Dahi Handi

• “माटी नो काम” - traditional painted pottery craft of Kutch, Gujrat, dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization, with only a handful of families practicing today.
• Contemporary product in traditional craft, made with locally sourced clay by artisans of Bhuj, Kutch.
• Hand-painted in beautiful traditional motifs by women artisans of the artisan with clay-based organic colors, using bamboo brushes.

Usage:

• Before first use, fill with drinking water, leave overnight, empty and dry completely in sun the next day.
• Due to porosity in the ware, some seapage may happen.

Washing Instructions:

• Wash with warm water, use mild soap and soft sponge if required.
• Do not scrub. Dry completely before storing.

• Fragile product, to be handled with care.
